In this case the dog was definitely not pegged to be the 'smart' dog. He was the dog that loved to eat garbage, so he was trying to figure out what he could cook that he loved, and that would win him the cooking contest. So he ended up with a 'garbage' pizza of ingredients leftover from everyone else's cooking.

So, yeah kids! Eat garbage!

And it took people weeks and weeks to animate that mess too. People got PAID for that. It's the Death Bed all over again.
