There are several things I like here, so I don't know that this will be particularly helpful. ^_^;

2. Love the idea of miracle machines.

3. I like this idea, but it doesn't seem...you to me, for some reason. One of the things I really enjoy about your writing is your attention to detail regarding worldbuilding, history, science, etc. and I don't think this would give you the opportunity to do that much. Of course, I could be totally off base with this, so feel free to ignore it.

5. LOVE this idea. You could pull it off extremely well, I think.
