Tentative Woo?

I have a new job! I accepted the job in the middle of nowhere. Or, more specifically, Saint Mary's Ohio. This is the one I made the poll for a few posts back. I really don't want to move to the middle of nowhere, but they really made me an offer I couldn't refuse. (I'll be making over $8K more) I'll be close to branch campuses for OSU and Wright State, if I decide to get my MBA. Or maybe I'll get a little dog and take it on walks. Who knows? The world is a vast place.

I hope I will feel more positive about this when I get over this miserable cold.

Wow, congrats on the job. I think the idea of getting your MBA and a little dog too is a great idea. I know the middle of nowhere is scary but you did do something similar in Japan. And you did well there.

Hey! Good luck. 8k is a lot of cash and I think a new job will be a good change of scene. And hey, MBA is always good right?

The job looks good, and the people seem nice. It will be a change just to work for an established company. I just don't think I'd get another offer like this.

Yeah, my experience in Japan was pretty much why I didn't want to move to the middle of nowhere. But that's where most of the Japanese auto plants are. I'm hoping that I can do a little time here, and then maybe transfer to another branch in a more urban area.
